DAISY PET OF THE DAY 02/08/10

"Daisy was our first pup - we adopted her at four months old. She was super smart and learned commands and tricks quickly.  She absolutely loved to play fetch!  As a puppy, we would tire out before she would, so my husband and I had to tag-team throwing the ball or rope toy.  Daisy was an independent doggie.  She didn't like to be smothered with hugs and kisses, and she liked her own space - preferring her own bed vs sleeping with the peeps.  But if you had a fleecy blanket, she was your best friend.  She loved to be covered up from her head to the tip of her tail.  Daisy lost her fight against cancer and passed away on Tuesday, July 31st, 2007 leaving a huge hole in our hearts.  She was such a unique little girl... a once-in-a-lifetime doggie whose memories will always make us smile. "
